Rally obedience
Rally obedience is a dog sport where you walk a course of signs, each one calling for an obedience exercise: sit, a circle around the handler, a change of pace. The judge is watching the teamwork between dog and handler rather than millimetre precision, which makes it an unusually friendly way into competitive obedience.
How it works
- You follow the course in order, performing the exercise at each sign.
- The handler may talk to and encourage the dog the whole way round.
- Points come off for faults in the exercises; classes run from novice to master.
Hundsporter keeps your rally obedience training diary. Rally competitions are not run in the app yet.
