Nosework
Nosework is a scent sport built on the dog’s nose. The dog learns to indicate specific odours and then searches them out — in containers, indoors, outdoors or on vehicles. It suits almost any dog, whatever its age, size or speed.
How it works
- The dog searches an area and indicates when it has found the odour.
- The handler reads the dog and calls the find to the judge.
- Time and faults decide the result — a wrong call costs.
- The four search elements are containers, interior, exterior and vehicles.
