Agility
Agility is a fast dog sport where handler and dog run an obstacle course against the clock. The course is jumps, tunnels, weaves and contact obstacles, and the dog runs free — the handler steers with body and voice alone. It is teamwork at speed that decides it.
How it works
- The judge designs the course, and handlers walk it without their dogs before the start.
- The dog runs the course in order, as fast and as cleanly as possible.
- Faults cost points: knocked bars, refusals, and time over the maximum.
- Classes are split by height at the withers (XS, S, M, L) so dogs meet their own size.
